If this lawyer has assisted you in a legal matter, we invite you to share your insights on
their services and offer an opinion on whether you would recommend them. However, we do not
permit client reviews based solely on a free consultation. This will help others decide
whether the lawyer may be a good fit for their needs. We appreciate your taking the time to
provide a review.
Explore the FAQs below to find out more about the process of submitting a Client Review or read our Client Review Policy.
Why is Facebook or LinkedIn Required to Write a Review
We accept reviews only from users who have a Facebook or LinkedIn account because this
allows us to verify their identity through their name and email address. The
verification process should be simple and efficient.
Who may Review an Attorney
Anyone can review an attorney if they have received paid or pro bono professional services from that attorney in any type of legal matter.
However, we do not permit client reviews based solely on a free consultation.
Personal friends of an attorney should not review them if they have not received professional services from them.
When is the Review Published
A client review will be published on our site no more than 24 hours after it has been
submitted. It will be published sooner if the attorney responds to the review less than
24 hours after it has been submitted.
Can I Change My Review
Yes, you can change your review by contacting us. We will be happy to assist you.
Can I Submit More Than One Review
No, you can only review an attorney once. If you need to change your review you can contact us. We will be happy to assist you.
Are Reviews Anonymous
The attorney whom you are reviewing will receive your full name.
However, you can choose how your name will be displayed on the review. The default
option involves displaying your full name (first and last names), but you can choose to
replace your first name, your last name, or both with an initial.
Lawyers: Can I Respond to a Review
Yes, you will receive a notification email when someone submits a review of your
services. This will include a link to respond to the review. Please note that the review
will be published regardless of whether you respond to it.
Lawyers: Can I Remove a Review
While you cannot remove a review on your own, you can contest a review if the person who
wrote the review did not actually receive legal services from you. This may eventually
result in the removal of the review. If the person who wrote the review received legal
services from you, but you feel that the review is inaccurate or misleading, you can
respond to the review by using the link in the notification email, as explained above.
Lawyers: Can I Opt-Out of Receiving Reviews
Yes, you can opt out of receiving reviews. If you want to continue receiving reviews
from peers and colleagues, you can choose to opt out of only client reviews and not
lawyer reviews. To do so, please contact us.
Lawyers: Is My Lawyer Rating Dependent on Client Reviews
No, client reviews have no impact on your lawyer rating.
