Why do I need to verify my email address?
Email verification helps us confirm that each review was written by an identifiable client and
allows us to contact you if follow-up is required. Please click the verification link in the
email we send after submission so that we can consider your review for publication.
Who may review an attorney?
Anyone can review an attorney if they have received paid or pro bono professional services from that attorney in any type of legal matter.
However, we do not permit client reviews based solely on a free consultation.
Personal friends of an attorney should not review them if they have not received professional services from them.
When is the review published?
After you verify your email address, your review enters our moderation process. Reviews that
pass moderation and are not flagged by the attorney are published within 24 hours of verification.
What information is shared with the attorney?
Justia shares your name, the display name you selected, and your email address with the attorney being reviewed.
If there is a dispute about the legal services you received, we may request additional information to confirm the
attorney-client relationship.
Can I submit more than one review?
Each client may review an attorney one time. If you need to update a previous review, please contact us and we will help you with any necessary edits.
